Bitter Mugugno 1969
A deeply Ligurian bitter, born from the encounter between the unmistakable character of Chinotto di Savona , selected citrus fruits and a blend of Mediterranean aromatic and botanical herbs.
Citrus notes immediately emerge on the nose, with orange and chinotto in the foreground, followed by herbaceous and balsamic nuances. On the palate, it is intense, balanced, and pleasantly bitter: the citrusy entry gradually gives way to aromatic herbs and a dry, persistent finish.
At 25% ABV , Amaro Mugugno is ideal for drinking neat after a meal, slightly chilled, or with a single ice cube. Its citrus notes and bitterness also make it particularly versatile in mixology, both in classic recipes and in the creation of contemporary cocktails.
It pairs well with dark chocolate, low-sugar desserts, fresh and dried fruit and cheeses, or simply for a few minutes when you don't feel like agreeing with anyone.
