 The Cooperative: Since its inception in 2011, Cambalache has been at the forefront of welcoming and assisting asylum seekers and beneficiaries of international protection. In this role, in addition to ensuring reception, it accompanied beneficiaries through all legal and administrative procedures and provided them with linguistic, cultural, and healthcare assistance. Aiming to create effective inclusion paths, Cambalache emphasizes the training of those assisted, through professionalization, retraining, and growth programs, with a focus on career guidance, active citizenship, and learning Italian. To enhance the social impact of hospitality, it promotes volunteering, training for staff, and awareness-raising activities among residents.
