Nece Terre di Siena DOP Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil - Mezzecrete
Extra virgin olive oil with a high content of polyphenols and a protected designation of origin. The olives are harvested while still green to ensure a high presence of chlorophylls and polyphenols which are perceived by the organoleptic examination in a positive way with the advantages of a greater fruity, bitter and spicy tone.

Il Frantoio: The area has always been suited to olive growing. A manuscript preserved in the nearby Abbey of Monte Oliveto testifies to the presence of olive trees as early as 1383, when the Olivetan monks rented olive groves to Mr. Nardo Agnolone in the area at the time nicknamed Nece (hence the name of the oil). Established in 2002, Mezzecrete is an agricultural company whose operational unit, Agricola Neci, is based in Asciano (Siena) in the heart of the Crete Senesi, just 15 km from the Brunello di Montalcino vineyards, in an area that extends for 260 hectares, including crops of grains, legumes and sunflowers, spontaneous truffle groves and olive groves. The systems are built in compliance with the regulations of the Terre di Siena DOP Consortium.
