 AH Riise Non Plus Ultra Black Edition is a special version of Non Plus Ultra rum. Only the best and oldest rums from the AH Riise stock are used, as well as charred oak barrels (black barrels).

 Tasting Notes: The color is very dark, almost black. The nose offers notes of peach, milk chocolate, caramel, and slightly burnt butter. The flavor is rich and creamy, with hints of almonds and oranges.

 The Distillery: AH Riise is located on the island of St. Thomas, a US Virgin Island in the Caribbean. Before the island became an American territory, it was a Danish colony. Pharmacist Albert Heinrich was not only authorized to open a pharmacy around 1840, but also to produce spirits. His production is based on years of experience, carefully selected spices, and extensive aging in charred oak barrels.
