Lumassina Mari Frizzante Sur Lies Colline Savonesi IGT – Cantina Sancio
Lumassina Mari is a unique sparkling interpretation of the Lumassina grape, one of the most iconic varieties of the Savona hills. Produced by Cantina Sancio, it comes from vineyards located between Orco Feglino, Vezzi, and Finale Ligure, areas characterized by the influence of the sea and mineral soils that lend the wine freshness and flavor. Secondary fermentation in the bottle without disgorgement allows the wine to mature on its lees, developing greater aromatic complexity and a natural vivacity.

The Winery: The company's roots lie in the Cappellania estate on the hills above Spotorno, where almost fifty years ago Mario Sancio began cultivating his first vines and producing Pigato. Over time, the company has grown while maintaining strong ties to the Ligurian Riviera. Today, Sancio Azienda Agricola cultivates approximately 6 hectares of vineyards spread across Spotorno, Vezzi San Giorgio, Orco Feglino, Finale Ligure, and Celle Ligure, with an annual production of approximately 45,000 bottles that express the authentic character of the Ligurian Riviera.
